E's Wine Bar

At E's we are quickly establishing ourselves as one of the staple restaurants among locals in Old Town Pasadena. Known for our fine Italian-Californian cuisine and vast selection of over 40 wines, ranging from small private vineyards off the Coast of South Africa to locally owned wineries right here in the great state of California. We wanted to make sure that we had wines that all would appreciate, from the amateur to the connoisseur alike. However, in the restaurant business you have to be able to expand, in both space and style. So the question has to be made how do you improve something that is already a success? Even more importantly, how do you not lose those attributes that have allowed your business to flourish.First, we understood that not everyone has the fetish for wine like we do, so we decided to revamp our existing bar. While our extensive wine list still remains, we wanted to offer a more diverse and intense selection of alcohol. However just adding alcohol wasn't enough, we wanted those hard to find items that would bring a greater interest and depth to our bar, for example Plantation Rums, Pierre Ferrand Cognac, Pere di Poli Grapa and Johnny Walker Blue Label. So while the fabulous blue neon bar draws you in, the cocktails make you stay.Due to the overwhelming response caused by the full bar and other changes we needed to get bigger. So we have enlarged our dinning area, and at the same time renovated our bathrooms. Making E's an even more attractive place to throw any special event or that after work office meeting. Finally, we wanted to add another dimension to the overall mood of the restaurant. We figured that by including live soft Jazz music we could get that extra something, while enhancing our customer's experience.
