Dexter's - Weybridge
Dexters is Weybridge's American restaurant, and a hit with families. The black, red and white New England meets New York themed is surprisingly comforting. Every night sees regulars chatting in the bar with a bottle wine after work. By day, the place is usually busy with local business people and young families; the kids love being handed crayons with their colouring-in menu. Food is classic American diner - baby back ribs, 8oz steaks, and a choice of nine burgers, all served with chips. The classic with bacon and cheese, and the jalapeno with guacamole, cheese, sour cream and Mexican hot sauce sell best. Lovely staff.

Dexter's is a great place for birthdays, especially the booths at the back. Parties can be arranged for all age groups. Children get free balloons, paper and crayons, and sparklers and candles in their cake. Everyone eats a la carte (no party menus). Good, affordable wine list - everything under £20. Very good milkshakes and smoothies.
