This top flight modern French restaurant masterfully blends classic and modern dining experiences into an unforgettable whole. The Venetian Renaissance style dining room is pilastered and arcaded, with soaring ceilings, rich draperies, blood-red upholstery, starched table linens, gleaming crystal and silver and the service is world-class. Daniel is seductive. You know, you could get used to this level of excellence. The uniquely inventive menu features only the finest ingredients inspired by the market. Dishes have included starter of spring garlic velouté with Florida frog’s legs, sautéed morels and parsley coulis, main course of trio of organic veal served roasted tenderloin and braised cheeks, sweetbread-ziti ‘tourte’ and pine nut–porcini ‘jus en vinaigrette’, and dessert of hot chocolate upside-down soufflé with pistachio ice cream. The wine list is one of the best around. You’ll be surrounded by romantic couples and high-flyers.
