Reviews of Zaza Restaurant

ZaZa's is a little gem of a restaurant, and was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday evening. The service was very friendly and accomodating. The mussel starter I had was great, though the chicken main course, for me, lacked flavour, but their dessert came up trumps with the great selections of ice creams. The stairs up to the toilets are a little hazardous and could do with a downstairs toilet to cater for the elderly or disabled.

Zaza has a range of interesting menu options, and a good wine list. The staff were friendly and attentive. A very enjoyable meal!

This was our first visit to Zaza's. It was a Saturday night and the place was busy and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We had some good food at a reasonable price.

Zaza is a quirky cosy place with beams and a cottage feel downstairs, something I was not expecting since from the outside looks a bit modern. Food was fantactic. The pizza and the homemade ravioli was tasty. Wine was light and of good quality, even though we thought to do it a bit cheap and went for the cheapest on the menu (around £12). As a whole a great experience and will visit again. Dinner for two which comprised pizza, ravioli, wine and a side dish was around £39.

Zara is a great restaurant and food and service excellent. Would like to see the toilets a little nicer through and they are upstair so if you cannot negotiate stairs, tricky!

Visited zaza's restaurant on Sat 30th Aug and had the set 3 course menu for under £20. There was an excellent choice and very large portion sizes for all 3 courses. There were 4 of us dining and we all very much enjoyed our meals which were well presented and very good quality. The restaurent was very busy all evening and is obviously popular, with lively atmosphere. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we will definitely return.

Our first time at Zaza - wewere given a table inside as the garden was full but were offered a move outside as soon as a table was available. Service lovely, food good - ravioli con zuca (honemade) was excellent althugh antipasto was only average. Spag bol also v. good. We'll be back.

Zaza is a vey cosy restaurant. My girllfriends and I thought the setting was excellent, the food was tasty & flavoursome and the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the wine was very nice, considering it was the house stuff. We certainly intend to return to try out some more of the desserts, and the full menu.

The restaurant ambience was warm and cosy, not too noisy either. The staff were pleasant and the food was exceptionally above standard. I would most definitely go back there and also recommend it to my friends.

Zaza certainly presents a wonderfully quaint setting. It was remarkably buzzing for a Monday evening. The food was delicious, highly recommend the mussels, tiger prawns, ravioli and seabass. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive. A very enjoyable evening was had by all - highly recommended.

Nice place, and good food. Would have been nice to have the option to sit upstairs, but a great night out nonetheless.
