The Winchester restaurant suffers from being sited in a large room clearly used for vairous functions so the atmosphere suffers especially when not fully busy. The service was good, the food pretty nice, but perhaps unsurprisingly was priced above average, which of course is not unusual in hotel restaurants. My steak was overcooked (medium well rather than medium rare) but food was good if not great value. Might consider going again one day.

The restaurant is situated in a very nice hotel, the staff were very helpful and polite. It is spacious but a little dark. The food was sublime and worth more than one rossette. We will be going back again very soon.

The Winchester Restaurant is within a hotel and is a large square room which with few diners is apt to be souless. THe service was very good, very attentive. The food was very good, well presented. Bread is cut to order. Very enjoyable evening
