Reviews of Wildberry Restaurant

We visited the Wildberry Restaurant on a Saturday evening with friends. The restaurant was quite full with plenty of atmosphere and the hotel itself was busy. I think a wedding had been held there. The service was attentive, the food reasonably priced and of a good quality. One of us ate from the set menu and this was exceptional value. We also liked that we could have our coffee in the lounge sitting in comfy chairs.

My wife's unclue and aunt were visiting from Hastings, and we wanted somewhere to go where the food would be good vale - as they were insiting on paying. So we booked the Wildberry Restaurant and new we would select fromthe set meal at around £15. The choice was good, the wine list was short but appropriate; the house white was actually very pleasant. Service started a bit cool but got beter. But still only 3 other dining groups in the Friday night we were there. It does deserve a lot better.

we went to the wilberry restaurant, in the Rivenhall Hotel, for the second Saturday night in 4 weeks - but this time with 2 other couples. That way we knew we would be able to make our own atmosphere, and it would feel like having your own, personal restaurant. As it does not get very busy - although about 20 other people in this time. The foodfrom the set Bistro menu (at about £13 for 3 courses) was very good; the chef does deserve a larger audience. The value for money was just excellent.

We booked the Wilberry restaurant, Riverhall at short notice (3 hours before) for a Saturday night. So we had lowish expectations. Food was good value fare - not exceptional but traditional and very good portions. The wine list was good for a hotel restaurant. Value, with top Table extra 10% discount, was exceptional. We will go back BUT only with a group of friends in about 6 or 8 of us as there were not many people in on the Saturday night (maybe 20 in total). Tip in cash as waitresses get all.

we dined at the wildberry bistro at Rivenhall End on the evening of Mothering sunday, We had our table booked for 7pm, and were surprised that we were the only people in the restaurant, as we were under the impression that they were fully booked. We were given a few menus to choose from, which was good as our son is vegetarian, Every thing was lovely, exept the prawns in the prawn cocktail could have had more flavour, but not a problem, It was a nice peaceful, relaxing meal.

The food was very good and the service was acceptable. The restaurant looks nice from the inside. The meal was very affordable and very good value for money.

Undoubtedly good value for money and the food was good. However, the staff leave alot to be desired. They've obviously been there for many years and there's no energy around customer service. They were even having a loud conversation between them, talking about hotel gusts and other staff in a poor fashion and we heard the odd swear word quite clearly. They need to sort this. Then the restaurant would have real potential.

The dining room was unavailable so we had a our celebratory lunch at a makeshift table in the bar area. The service was with a smile but slow and poor. Luckily the food was superb! We will definitely give it another try when the restaurant is open.

The Wildberry restuarant made us feel very welcome, the food was exceptional in both presentation and taste. I would highly recommend this restuarant.
