Watermark - Thatcham Unusually busy and full of small children and most people in jeans and tee-shirts. Despite this we enjoyed our meal (£100+) and would go again.

The Watermark in Thatcham. On a first time visit we found the venue welcoming, and surprised the restaurant staff by arriving at 7pm precisely; but they wisked us to a nice table and menus appeared instantly. All the food was excellent and stylishly served. The wines were very good, although rather expensive for what is a hotel restaurant. Only complaint - we were not advised that the vegetables were "extra" & therefore had none. Overall we had an enjoyable evening and will probably return.
