A pleasant experience. Food was good and friendly service. I would recommend as a venue for casual dining or group bookings

Waterloo brasserie was dark, sophisticated and cosy. The food was well executed classic dishes, nothing outrageous or innovative but nice none the same. Prices felt a little steep in places, but overall a good ambiance, good for groups as likely to have something to please everyone.

We ate at the Waterloo Brasserie on Friday 14 Nov 08. The menu was interesting and the wine list offered a reasonable choice. The fois gras starter and halibut main were excellent, but I wished the serving staff would stop topping up our glasses without asking. We had to cancel dessert after waiting 20 minutes as we had a train to catch. Certainly not a bad meal but I wouldn't rush back here.

Waterloo Braisserie. Very convenient location and food was tasty albeit on the pricey side. Service good until it filled up and then was hard to get attention.

beautiful decor and nice atmosphere. food was good but service a little variable. the waiters were very nice and friendly but seemed a little ditzy - forgot to bring bread, forgot someones coffee. all in all though a really nice venue with decent food.

We went to Waterloo Brasserie on Friday night. Excellent food and good choice of wines and the atmosphere was great, the place was buzzing when we arrived. Afterwards, we retired to the bar area to finish our wine. WB is a great place for a night out or just a drink at the bar! The staff were friendly but the service was slow, not recommend if you%u219re in a rush. Fortunately, we had time on our side and had a smashing evening.

The modern and fashionable decor in the Waterloo Brasserie gives it an attractive atmosphere. The same attention to detail paid to the interior design is reflected in the food. I throughly enjoyed the roast duck which was cooked just how I asked. I would also recommend the creamed spinach as a side dish. The wine list was comprehensive with a good range of prices. With the toptable deal, it is definitely good value for money.

Waterloo Brasserie should be renamed The Hall of Mirrors! Its very swish, the waitors are very French, the food is good and the style is fab...book the big round table at the back if there are enough of you...

This was the second time I had been to the Waterloo Brassiere and it was a little disappointing. The restaurant is lovely and in a great location. The service was good but the food on this occasion wasn't great. Remember to order plenty of side dishes!

Tried the Waterloo brasserie for a quick working lunch, taking advantage of the Top Table 'free bellini' offer when having the two course lunch. Warm welcome, and prompt and pleasant service in a bright and modern setting. Nothing really inspiring about the food though - the descriptions probably overpromised. We will probably be back, as it is so close to the office, but I wouldn't travel a long way to eat here

Waterloo Brasserie has a good, varied menu & had the wine we requested. The 2 courses we had were very good but we had to miss dessert due to them getting the wrong order & we had to go to the theatre so couldn't wait. They did offer us to return after the show which was nice but that apart we were very sattisfied and would visit again.

I was expecting bad things after reading a review in the press - thus was pleasantly surprised. My starter of A king prawn was nice but wanted more. My main mussels were way too big and had an odd flavour - bit plasticy to be honest. The ambience on a Frday night fun - but we nearly missed the beginning of our play and had to leave our food... mmm. On reflection - a great bar after the play... maybe stick to that!

Loved the atmosphere and interior of the Waterloo Brasserie - it's a good-looking restaurant. Food was okay. Shame about the toilets - swanky toilets with an overflowing bin and no toilet paper! Definitely worth a return visit.
