Waterloo Bar and Kitchen remains one of the South Banks best kept secrets. From the warm welcome, throught the service paced to your expectations, this is an exceptional venue. Informal, but where you feel comortable entertaining. Excellent menu, with interesting specials (Confit of duck with Toulouse Sausages) and a good but reasonably priced wine list. Highly Recommended>

The Waterloo Bar and Kitchen continues to be one of my favourite places to eat in London. A great place to bring a foodie you want to impress for whatever reason... The staff are inobtrusive but attentive, the ambience is spot on, and I've never once been dissapointed by a plate of food. Well done guys!

A group of us went to Waterloo Bar & Kitchen for a lunch. The food was very good although a few were slightly dissapoointed with their desserts. Great service - attentive without being over-bearing and a nice atmosphere - had a real buzz about it. Would recommend it to others and would be keen to go again.

The Waterloo Bar & Kitchen is a well located restaurant serving decent food at reasonable prices, a well stocked wine list and excellent service helped to create a very enjoyable evening. My only icriricism would be that the menu was a touch basic.

Waterloo bar and kitchen was a good, genuine neighbourhood restaurant. We were quite a big table, but the food all came well timed, and service was smooth and friendly. Meals all looked good, I had the steak which was well executed. All in all a nice place for friends to while away an evening though if i did not live close I would probably look at other restaurants for the wow factor!

Waterloo Bar & Kitchen was chosen by us because of it's great location - as we were going out after. The food was ok, although the steak could have been better! Will definitely recommend, due to such a great location.

Absolutely loved it. Only have good to say about this restaurant. It is just really nice simple, but delicious food served by welcoming staff in a great environment. I have been twice and I think it might soon become my favourite London Restaurant. Try it!

We went to the Waterloo Bar and Kitchen after reading reviews and as it was next door to the Old Vic, where we were seeing a play, it was perfect! We were the first customers in the restaurant as it was 5.30pm and the staff had reserved for us the best table. As they knew we were seeing the play, the food was perfectly timed and all 4 of us loved all the courses we received. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Waterloo Bar & Kitchen is the best restaurant in the area. We were half an hour late due to train problems but the waiter was charming and made light of it. The food was exceptional and I highly recomment the Chicken Liver paté. My only grievance is that Keven Spacy wasn't dining there that day, as he is known to do. Worth revisiting for the good food and service.

Really fantastic food and friendly service. This restaurant is such a nice find, especially in Waterloo. Finally found a place that both myself and my boyfriend really like.

Went to the Waterloo Bar & Kitchen at busy pre-theatre time. Service still excellent and atmosphere great. Food even better - pork belly as a starter seemed like a risk but carried off well. Spot-on mains and great classic desserts. Good selection of affordable but decent wines. Highly recommended - don't be put off by the less than impressive exterior!
