A hip atmosphere. Good food. Service was good but a little slow.

We went to Volt for a friends Hens dinner, she wanted something intimate and sophisticated and we had the Cognac room. The service was fantastic and the food plentiful and ery delicious. The wne was pricey with cheapest around £28 but very good wine. We had the 50% off gourmet menue and would defenitely recomend it highly.

Hi If you plan to have a fun evening in a posh, classy place, then Volt is the place for you. But DO NOT go there just for the TT deal. Its only applicable for the very expensive gourmet menu. We couldnt eat much after having downed 3 £10 cocktails each. (Which werent discounted). Also by the time we got to coffee (which was included in the gourmet menu price) we couldnt get any because the kitchen was closed. Again, absolutely go there for a couple of beers. Have some mezze as well.

Fabulous! Although I've eaten there many times, this was the first time taking clients out there - they absolutely loved it! W ehad a really mixed group and everyone agreed it was superb! What was really amazing was that some of the clients worked just around the corner and had no idea that the place exisited - by the end of the evening they'd adopted Volt as their new "local". Excellent!

I took a girl on a first date to Volt, and we had a great time. The ambiance and decor of this place certainly helped us along. The food was good but would have been grossly overpriced without the toptable offer. I had Sea Bass which was superb and my partner had steak which was could have been a better cut of meat. The wine list lacked imagination but wasn't hideously overpriced. Unfortunately the service was of the Narcissistic variety. Beautiful people without a sense of humor. Pity.

Volt Restaurant - We had the gourmet menu at half price; it was reasonable standard, but not exceptional. Good value at half price, but not really worth the full £44.50. Good atmosphere, and the tables are not too densely packed. Would go back, but the jury still out on whether I'd recommend it.

Good food, cool restaurant, service a little less than good, staff weren't too friendly. Good experience but not sure i would return.

Our first time in Volt and we found the service, food and ambience to be very good. We were seated adjacent to each other on a large but intimate table, which was a nice change. We ate off the a la carte menu, both going for the rocket salad and I had the smoked aubergine and goats cheese raviloli whilst my wife had lobster pompadora spaghetti. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and found the food to be excellent.

Volt was an interesting experience. Busy, despite the rainy post holiday Tuesday eve, and a great atmosphere and setting. Generally very friendly staff, and some really great dishes in the gourmet menu - the smoked aubergine and goats cheese ravioli was outstanding. Value for money was excellent with the 50% off food. However, if you go for this '6 starter' option, be prepared to be very full! One gripe - we asked for parmesan cheese, and waited 10 mins, meaning adding it to lukewarm pasta

went for dinner here as we had 50% off and thought it would be interesting to try italian mezze. We got the Gourmet menu. For the chef's choice starters the seafood linguine was a bit bland but the orechiette was delicious. For mains we could choose our own. The veal was very bland but the swordfish was excellent. Dessert was ok, nothing special. It was good as it was 50% off but I won't be in a hurry to go back there.

Volt was good value with the Toptable deal, but the idea of an italian meze was a bit weird for the starters. Plus they served us up a Caesar salad with no chicken. The food was ok and the service was friendly. It's probably worth going for the tirimasu alone - amazing and definitely made in-house!
