Vittoria was an excellent choice for a meal with a large group of friends. Cheerfull staff ,a buzzing but friendly ambience with a feel of Italy. Recommended.

We had a lovely meal & the set menu offer was good value with several choices & the glass of prosecco. Service was friendly & attentive & we very much enjoyed the chat with Roberto whose advice on wine was welcomed. The Gavi was an excellent choice. Gelato gorgeous! Flooding in the toliets had caused a problem but there was information put up in notices to explain & they were clean.

Vittoria's On The Walk gets 10/10 for food, service, atmosphere and value for money. This family-friendly restaurant is consistently a pleasure to visit. Good children's menu, fab pizzas and delicious ice-creams, to name but a few reasons to go!

My friend and I went to the Vittoria on the Walk in Edinburgh and thoroughly enjoyed it - the food was served quickly and efficiently - my only comment would be that the house wine we ordered did not appear on the menu and the waitress gave us the wrong price for it and it turned out to be nearly as expensive as the Merlot on the menu, which we would have bought if we had known the price of the house wine - but all in all it is a very good restaurant and to be recommended.

Vittoria's on the Walk is great value for money, very family-friendly, with a lively and pleasant atmosphere. The pizzas are probably the best in Edinburgh; the ice cream selection is extensive and great; the wine list is excellent value, with many good wines priced in the £14-16 range; and the service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. In short, we can't fault it. We'll be back very soon!

We had an enjoyable family night at Vittoria on the Walk. The pizza and calzone were only average but the veal Milinaise and Tuna main were very tasty. Overall I thought it was slightly overpriced for what it was and would try other places before going again.

Vittorio's maybe an institution but it certainly isn't institutionsalised. Don't go if you have eaten in the last 24 hours particularly if you want the osso buco - is it really necessary for 3 large chops -including the marrow - yippee! and half a countries rice quota? I can't beleive I ahve been visiting Edinburgh for so many years and not discovered it before now.
