Reviews of Villandry

Villandry has a very nice décor and a good menu selection. Many of the starters were quite French. The red mullet soup was superbly cooked, poured directly from the small pan into the bowl and was bursting with flavour! The cassoulet of duck confit was tender, while the lamb was made to perfection. The waiter was very friendly and swift. It was very good value with the 50% off offer. We decided it is definitely worth a revisit!

Villandry was a great place for a catch up with the girls. Service was not overpowering, the lighting and setting was fabulous, i love that you walk through the shop and deli to get to the restaurant. 50% meant it was a reasonable price. Def go again

Villandry is a great place to go fo a spot of brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Truly the best Eggs Benedict I have ever tasted. Atmosphere was laid back and easy and you can tell that each dish is made with the finest ingredients. Quite pricey but luckily we dined on the 50% off deal, well worth it.

My in-laws were in London for the day from Paris and my husband and I have decided to take them to one of the toptable listed restaurants and have chosen Villandry - 5mins walk from our flat. We were all impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant. Food was superb as well and not to mention good service. We were given a table next to the window on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We would definitely come back soon!!!

I ate on a 50% deal and thought that it was fantastic - without this it is quite pricey but the food was exquisite.

Villandry was a great mid week night out. The toptable deal made the bill a pleasant surprise. Very reasonable for a great meal. Would recommend and will be going again.

Villandry is a lovely spot, with attentive yet discreet staff, delicious food beautifully presented in a very nice space. A very nice night out

Villandry was enjoyable, though still pricey even with the offer. Tasty food though, nice ambience. Would revisit with the offer probably if in the neighbourhood.

Last night, the food was not quite up to the very high standard of last week: hand-cut chips had been left standing a while, and the lemon tart was not sharp enough. Also they were very busy and seemed a little under-staffed (although the service was willing). There was a jazz combo and singer who unfortunately were so highly amplified that it was difficult to hear yourself speak. Nevertheless, overall it was a good evening and a good dinner.

The food was quite tasty, but there were not that many vegetarian options. The portions were also very small, and quite pricey for what we got. The ambience and service we got was pretty good. However, as a vegetarian I don't think I would return even if we still got the 50% off food deal
