We tried Villa Romano after hearing good things, the service was excellent but we both found the food very bland, bruschetta was good but the mains were very disappointing. I had the medallions of beef but the tomato taste was overpowering everything else, my wife had the duck which was ok but again a little bland, I have no problems paying money for good food but this food was overpriced considering what we were served.

Villa Romana is in a lovely setting, the staff extremely attentive, and the food was excellent. The starters were almost a meal in themselves. The house red was 'interesting' (we had a glass each with our starters) but the Cabernet Savignon at just a little more per bottle was superb which we had with the main course. We'd certainly return.

excellent restaurant in fareham, food was brilliant, good choice of wines and staff A +++++++ worth a visit.

We dined at the Villa Romana restaurant and went away very impressed. We had fillet steak, which was cooked to perfection and fresh salmon fillet which was superb. Service was extremely attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We will definitely return!

Villa Romana, Fareham Excellent service, good food although a bit light on the accomanying vegetables. Complimentary apparetif and shotz at the end was a nice touch.
