The food at Viet Grill is very nice and aquariums add a nice touch to the ambience. Good location for a date.

We had lunch at the Viet Grill. The offer was very good value for money. We both had duck - one fairly basic and one curried. The latter was very tasty and spicey enough to keep it interesting; the former was somewhat bland but the fault lay more with my friend who actually prefers a more flavorful dish. We finished off by sharing the coconut icecream which was very refreshing and a good contrast to the curry.

Great dinner yet again, so much food so delicious!! highly recommended. will go back again. 7 starters, 3 main courses for 4 of us, can't finish all that, with non-alcoholic drinks, £88.00 in total incl service, very reasonable. the new deco is really really good. can't fault any of it, except it's a bit far to get to.

Viet Grill is great value, the food is very tasty, and the service is relaxed and friendly. The sizzling seafood was spot on, and the fresh spring rolls are great - once you've tasted them, the deep-fried variety will never have the same appeal. The wine list is good for a Vietnamese restaurant and also good value.

Viet Grill was very busy and we had to wait for our table, but the food was excellent. Quite different dishes - the catfish in a claypot was fabulous thick slightly spicy sauce and the spiced salt quail was succulent and tasty. This is to be highly recommended.

Having Vietnamese in-laws and eating home-cooked Vietnamese food regularly I have always been disapointed when eating at so-called Vietnamese restaurants. However, the Viet Grill is great. My wife and I salivated when reading through the menu as it really was Vietnamese and didn't include the usual Chinese fare on it. My Bun Bo Hue was full of flavour - next time I'll ask for chilli oil to spice it up. My Thit Kho was full of flavour. My wife's hot and sour soup was as she remembers when a child.

Really nice food. Set menu is more than enough for 2 people! The starter is huge!! Definately recommended, although I have to warn you, I was informed at the restaurant that the set menu finishes at 6.30pm...

6 of us ate at the Viet Grill on Friday evening at 7.00. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up and was full with people queuing at the door later on. The food was delicious. We were all impressed and wine was really reasonable. My husband raved about the catfish dish and our friend raved about the steak starter and side noodles. The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was different and tasty too. We will def be going back and recommending it to others.

The food was very tasty and reasonably priced so two thumbs up for that!. The service wasn't great and nobody checked on us or asked if we needed anything etc. The decor was ok. The menu was large- I think too large as you end up getting confused and not knowing what to order. Because of the price and tasty food I probably would recommend the Viet Grill to friends.

this was our 3rd visit to the Viet Grill and probably not the last. as always, the quality of the food was good - certainly is good value. Viet Grill is a good alternative to the standard chinese/thai food on the market. service was ok

We booked through Top table however when we got there the table was not ready for us. It is recommended that you call them up after your booking to check it has been entered in the book. Great vietnamese, although sometimes they are so busy service isnt quick enough. Overall an enjoyable evening.
