Veritas has improved its ambience after its facelift. It was busy with plenty of staff who were friendly and efficient. As it was Burns Night we were a little disappointed that nothing reflected this on the menu, apparently they did it on weds 23rd?? Food was nice but nothing to write home about. No bread was offered with our starters and after desserts were served we were a little fogotten. The menu had an excellent and varied selection and we would go again.

Overall a very good experience at Veritas. Our starters and mains were cooked to perfection. The service could have been slightly more attentive, especially as the restaurant was virtually empty. (It was a Saturday lunch time). However, would definitely recommend, simply for the quality of the food.

The food at Veritas was very good although portion sizes were on the small side. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
