Temptation has some lovely authentic indian dishes and was good for a big group. Drinks are a little pricy considering the area.

The food at Temptation was lovely, we went fairly early so they were still showing the football as we were the only customers in the restaurant, but the food was great anyway!

Temptations interior is attractive with nice tables, wall hangings and tiled sparkly floor. 10/10 for staff -attentive but not intrusive and helpful answering some questions I had on the menu. Food overall was a bit bland with the veg jalfrezi and chicken saag having no spice despite having a 2/3 chilli rating. However, everything was cooked beautifully with lots of very fresh ingredients- spinach, peppers etc. Recommended: the chicken tandoori is exquisite. Tiger on draught was great too.

Temptation Restaurant is clean with sparkly floor tiles, good service and tasty food, although a tad hotter than a normal Indian restaurant. Disappointing was the Jeera Aloo, described as potato wedges when it was new potatoes, so had an odd consistency. Overall would recommend as a very quiet week day restaurant.

Sauces and spices i had no problem with. However the quality of the meat and fish was very poor. The chicken was slightly hard, Lamb chewy and the monk fish tasted like haddock. I can not complain with the service. It was a tuesday night and was quite empty but that was probably because the have only recently opened.

Being Vegetarian, I was disappointed about the food. Starts and main both. Had Paneerand Aloo Tikki (ok). Main Makhni Daal was not cooked, Mush Veg not good. They did serve Tarka dal, but was not impressed. There were hardly 2 tables booked for a Friday pm.

Temptation was empty when we had Lunch on a Sunday. It was difficult to judge the ambience under the circumstances. The establishment is certainly modern in its décor and all looked immaculately clean. I wanted to have the £10.95 lunch special but they said it was not available, and the menus were being reprinted. The service was good but the food was only average, my partner’s Chicken Korma being watery in the extreme with no real taste at all. The actual chicken was OK though. My Rara Gosht was reasonably tasty and the meat quite acceptable although not really value at £7.45, similarly the Bombay aloo acceptable, but, £4.45 is too much for this dish under these circumstances. Again, plain Nan, good, but at £2.45 a little expensive. I generally felt the food adequate but nothing special, a triumph of presentation over substance. I feel there are better establishments in the area.

Lunch at Temptation was a very quiet affair but the food was as good as it is in the evening. The cuisine is modern Indian with some unusual flavour combinations, which all work well. The decor and whole dining experience is lovely and good value as well. Certainly worth a trip out to Ruislip!
