Pacos is a nice retaurant within a hotel which is sometimes hard to find. Especially good if resident at the hotel, and an asset to the village of Whickham

We were given a friendly greeting at Pacos. The starters were well flavoured but my bruschetta was rather overdone. My main course was sea bass which was served on a bed of vegetables with roast new potatoes and it was delicious. Other members of our group had the lamb and the chicken which were also well flavoured and attractiveley served. The desserts-tiramisu, icecream and brulee were all delightful. At £110 for 4 it was excellent value for money. The waiters were attentive and keen to please
