As always great food, great service and great value

Nineteen was really quiet (but it was Monday night). The menu is short with only one veggie option unless you eat fish. I can honestly say it was ok, wouldnt rave about it but also may go back again for a coffee and cake!

Food was excellent, and surprised to find such a nice location in the area. Cocktails were also very good. The restaurant was quite understaffed but apologetic, but overall would definitely recommend it either for a meal or just for cocktails.

A year on and this place is going from strength to strength. A new menu and a new executive (celeb) chef - what's not to like. We had an amazing fish pie with prawns, salmon and cod and my dining partner had the heartiest of Osso Bucco. Desserts were to die for with my Passion fruit parfait being a real hilight. Three courses for £19 fantastic value. Definately THE place to go to in Streatham. We'll be back

Our 3rd visit to Nineteen. What has and continues to impress is the attentive and friendly service. The quality of food is very good, but not for the first time some menu selections were not available. Ambience was very good - even without lights, candles added to the romanticism.

We had another fantastic night at Nineteen. To start we had pigeon breast with neeps and a lucious crab salad. For mains we both ordered steak with hand cut chips which were both cooked perfectly. Desserts were to die for with panna cotta, gooseberries and ginger snaps. The unadvertised 50% just makes the whole experience even better however without the offer the restaurant is still good value and if you arrive before 7.00pm there is two for one on wines. I love this place and will be back.

We had a fantastic three course meal with fresh squid for starters, corn fed chicken breast for mains and sublime pannacotta with gooseberries and ginger snaps for dessert. The bill came to £28.00 per person however there was an unadvertised 50% off food which brought the bill down to and was an expected treat. I am currently planning my next visit and would highly recommend the restaurant.
