How do we persuade them to turn the music down? Waiters agree - but boss likes it high!

Mao Tai is the perfect place for a couples night out on Thursdays or Fridays. The atmosphere is great, the bartenders are innovative and the food is always good

The starters where so fantastic we ended up ordering more starters instead of a main. Makes for a great Chinese Tapas!

Mao Tai is one of the best Chinese restaurants in london. however it is very expensive. £4.80 for 3 prawn dumplings is too costly. Wines were also expensive.

Mao Tai in Parsons Green is really lovely if you like good Asian food. Service is sometimes a bit hit and miss, but the cocktails are fabulous. My favourite dishes are the black cod and bang bang chicken, but the Crispy Duck is way over priced and we had to send ours back for lack of duck. Overall though a great little local spot.

I've eaten here before, admittedly at a specially arranged wine dinner. In my previous experience, the food was more imaginative and interesting. However, I thought the food was tasty and enjoyable this time, if not quite as much fun. The winelist was extensive but didn't contain as many Austrian wines as I would like because those wines are extremely well suited to Asian food of all types. I also thought the winelist was a bit pricey.

Really enjoyed dinner at Mao Tai last night, the food was delicious. The only annoying thing was the service: waitresses would butt in when you were having a conversation to ask if you were finished etc rather than being more discreet. I do happen to find this incredibly irritating!

Mao Tai is a real find; a restaurant and bar that has a really contemporary feel, good service and excellent food. A winning combination to which we will return soon.

The service and food were lovely, as usual, at Mao Tai. It can be a bit pricy, but worth it occasionally. On this occasion, we were sitted a little too closely to another couple, but that usually doesn't happen. Have never been to the bar. We really like this place and the people in it. What a brilliant local to have!

Food was ok small serve but 12.5% service charge is over price won't recommend if you looking for evening meal under £ 35 per head ambiance is ok a bit dark to be honest it was over price compare to another restaurant in the same area.

Our experience at Mao Tai was ok. Nothing special however and we found the food rather over priced with the portions being a little small. There are a lot of tables inside the restaurant and on a busy night I could imagine it being rather hectic and not very relaxing.

Mao Tai proved to be a hit with guest from overseas. It is quickly becoming our "go to" restaurant. Service is good. Food is even better. Mao Tai's dinning-room is a bit noisy so if your looking for a quiet, romantic dinner for two you'll be disappointed.

Mao Tai has a wonderful wait staff, beautiful ambience and offers great Chinese food all for a fairly reasonable price. Set just off parsons green it is in a great location and offers a fun but convenient night out.
