Reviews of Mantra: Contemporary Indian Dining

I went to Mantra in a group of 4 people, and everyone was highly impressed with the quality of the food. All dishes were absolutely delicious. All of us agreed that food tasted really fresh. The lamb ribs and the calamari (both starters) are absolutely divine. Decoration is modern and sofisticated. Will definetly go back many times.

Mantra is truly a unique experience unlike any Indian restaurant I have been to. Huge chandelier in the entrance, large red leather chairs, glass table and plates and weird lighting and music all add to the impression that you are somewhere new and innovative. The food is good and well presented although it is not as different as it might appear. Starters were very good and tasty but main courses could have been spicier. Well worth a visit.

Mantra is very contemporary and flash restaurant with flavoursome food. The service is always good even if you're a regular customer. We would definitely recommend this fine indian cuisine.

Mantra was the best indian meal I have tasted served with style and sofistication often lacking in other indian premises. I would most definitely recommend everyone to try this restaurant.

The decor at Mantra is very funky. Food was good - some of the group ordered chicken dishes but the chicken wasn't breast meat. We had a table booked for 8.30 on a saturday night and when we arrived some tables had young children on them, which meant there was some crying and noise through dinner. Overall a nice meal and pleasant evening.

Mantra is a beautifully-decorated resatuarant that I would recommend to others. The food is excellent, especially the sweet potato starter!

If you like Indian food, Mantra is an experience not to be missed. The food is quite delicious, with only the Butter Chicken being on the mild side for my tastes. Great for vegetarians. The "Free Lunch" offer is a great way to try out the restaurant. The decor makes a great talking point, but beware, the low chandalier if you get the table at the front. Service is great - and yes it is well worth the trip out to Hounslow (walking distance from Hounslow West Tube). I'll be back.

Mantra is gorgeous - a treat for all the senses! Fab decor and the most fantastic food. Service lets it down on many of the times I've been, but everything else is so good you forgive.

The Mojitos and service never disappoint. The food was very good and our table of 8 were well looked after. All in all, a good venue for a Birthday dinner.
