Malmaision Brasserie: the food was amazing and the service pretty good. The menu is very carniore focussed, theres not alot you can eat here if you are veggie or just not that big on red meat and game. The photos on here & the company website do not do it justice- the decor is very impressive!

The Malmaison is set in a quaint square away from the bustle of the city. The food was very good but not quite perfect, for example a skin on the gravy of the steak and kidney pudding suggested that the dish had been standing a while. There was a good ambience with low lighting which is typical of a Malmaison, but the chairs were a little too low. Overall we had pleasant evening and would recommend it.

I took my boyfriend for a birthday meal to the London Malmaison Brasserie and we both loved it. It's set in a beautiful building very close to Farringdon tube station. As all of their restuarants and hotels the lighting and decorating were second to none. It's romantic and sophistacted with dark sofas and dark lighting. The restaurant itself was gorgeous and the food was delicious. Very well priced and generous portions. I would recommend to everyone and would def go again. A top choice!

We opted for the Mal Burger and wow, what a burger indeed. Good value for money food wise but i was a bit blown away by the wine menu! Definately worth a vist and if you can afford it, a night at the hotel too.

Although I usually try to avoid restaurant situated in hotels, there are exceptions! I went to Malmaison last week for a lunch and it's Smithfields best guarded secret: tucked away in a courtyard there's an address with delicate food, ideal for business lunches. Extensive wine card too. I had monkfish sliced very thinly, nice and firm over an tasty risotto. The oxcheek was apparently delicious too and the Savigny les Beaunes 2005 was a good choice.

As in all previous visit to Malmaison Brasserie, the food was excellent and the service was equally complimentary. I will definitely continue to patronise this fabulous eatery!

We had a good, but not excepptional, meal at Malmaison Brasserie. The place has a clubby feel and was quite buzzy with Christmas party people. Prices are on the high side.
