Have been before. Food was very good and nicely presented.

Eaten at many a Malmaison and as ever the fayre was of a good standard. Reasonable prices and the wine was a good quality, served at the correct temperature.Service was attentive and efficient. However the background music, which was typical 'Mal' in style, was not always on and the intermittent nature became quite distracting

Very nice venue and probably very busy at the weekend. Food was good, wine list was very good and some good chioces by the glass. Worth a look.

Malmaison Reading: Have eaten here many times before and enjoyed it, but last night was a bit hit and miss - service very slow despite only 4 tables being occupied, and food generally quite average (although to give it some credit the entrecote was wonderfully tender). Still would recommend as a decent venue though from what is otherwise a pretty limited selection in Reading!

Malmaison was excellent. It was an informal business dinner after a long day's meeting. Everyone enjoyed the ambience, the service was very good and the food excellent - infact one gentleman said his steak was too big!!

Malmaison, Reading - Perfect atmosphere and location for our Wedding Anniversary meal. Good attentive service and nice food. Extensive wine list to choose from although most a little overpriced. Would recommend this venue.

Food was good but not great value for money. Seats uncomfortable - sat really low and far away from the person opposite you. Not a bad place but wouldn't not in a rush to return.

Malmaison - Reading. I was eagerly awaiting this night out after a month long detox. The food did not dissapoint. I had the open haddock and seafood lasagne to start which was heveanly (I can still taste it) and then to follow; duck on red cabbage with poached pear, cooked beautifully. The starters took a little while longer to arrive than you'd expect but we were given extra bread and olives. Service was good, the only downside was the broken heating but the complementary wine made up for it.

I was staying at the Malmaison so thought a dinner at the Brasserie would be easy to arrange. The food was very nice, there was an extensive wine list with which we had some help from the sommelier. Service was very good and a mistake of extra bottles of wine being added to the bill was quickly rectified.

The service at Malmaison was excellent. The winelist and wine waiter relatively comprehensive. There were a few mishaps with our meals, I think the menu could be a tad more detailed as to what each meal actually consists of. All in all quite pleasant.

The Malmaison Brasserie - Reading offered average quality food for above average prices. The wine list was comprehensive but overpriced. I wouldnt go back here unless they have a TT offer as it isnt good value for money.

A weekday dinner at Malmaison Brasserie was still quite busy. A little background music would have improved the ambience as I felt the people next to us could hear every word we were saying and vice versa. The food was good but nothing particularly special. Good selection of wines with several under the £25 mark.
