All in all a good experience. Lovely venue with smart attentive staff. Food mostly very good although pasta starter slightly overcooked and one of the three cuts of lamb in the main course was not pink but still baaing, (still enjoyed it!!!!)

Delicious non-alcoholic cocktails at Maiyango. However,the problem for me and my fiance was the food (huge disappointment). As we only eat halal meat, we ordered vegetarian options. The soup was tasteless, though the roasted vegetable and cheese tart was ok.The thai curry & paneer with rice didn't taste very thai, but was easily edible. The sea bass was tasty, but didn't go very well with the mashed potato. Dessert was a disappointment.Staff were lovely as was the decor. Toilets were very clean

We were a large all-male stag party but Maiyango still took our booking we could not have been looked after any better by Joe and his team. Fantastic place, amazing cocktails and food to die for. Given that we ordered from the Price Fixe menu the value for money for the food quality was amazing. We even got free passess to the new late bar. Thanks for making our evening so good, easily one of the best restaurants I've ever been to for balance of service, food and ambience.

A great place to eat and enjoy cocktails and good friends. Very friendly atmosphere. Service was friendly and second to none with good recommendaions on the menu.

Maiyango does amazing cocktails, great food & the service is the best I've encountered in the city centre. Go visit - take some friends - you'll have a fantastic time !

This is the second time that we have had a meal at Maiyango. Both times we have thoroughly enjoyed the evening with great food, service and atmosphere. This time we were a little let down by the rushed service, we felt our food being brought out to quickly as if they were trying to get rid of us, we would have prefered more time to chat and drink wine between courses. Other than than, great all round! Thank you

Miyango, Excellent all round. Food was of a very high standard, very tasty. Cocktails superb, and Service Exemplarily. Will be going back. Happy customer.

Food absolutely fantastic! restaurant was a little quiet for a saturday night. For a cocktail bar felt more cocktails should have been on the menu. Will highly recommend this restaurant.

Maiyango - what an amazing restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was faultless. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely - we had one of the booths that was really intimate and cosy but yet still picked up on the atmoshpere from the rest of the tables. The lamb dish was one of the best I had eaten and the little treats in between the courses were a welcome surprise. If i'm ever in Leicester, I would definitely go back here. Loved it!!

Maiyango, Leicester was a great place to eat. The service was great and i really enjoyed the 'inbetween' meal suprises...the sorbet was wonderful, as long as you don't have a sweet tooth - very sharp and the shot of soup was delicious. I will definately eat there again. Their attention to detail is great too, not one smudge on a wine glass.

Amazing atmosphere, good music and fantastic food. Maiyango's own cocktails were also an added bonus to the evening. Held out an extr 10 minutes for one of the booths, would recommend booking one, very comfortable and relaxing.

Maiyango Restaurant in Leicester. We wanted a special venue and a special meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we definitely weren't disappointed. Although we visited on a quiet night (Monday) there was still a good atmosphere. The waiter was first class, he was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable; nothing was too much trouble. Cocktails before meal were good, the food afterwards was excellent and could not be faulted in any way. Highly recommended, and we shall return ourselves.

Wow! I was just looking for a decent restaurant to take a friend out for dinner, but from the moment we walked in the door to be greeted by the friendly staff it was obvious this was going to exceed expectations. The menu, food and service were very impressive and despite being fairly quiet the atmosphere was fantastic. The defining characteristic of the resturant were the cocktails, each made with great care and tasting great. And, after settling the bill I still had change for a taxi!
