Food was nice but the service was poor. They knew there was going to be at least 12 of us so felt that they could have been prepared a bit more. Nevertheless, for small groups, i would definately recomend it.

The staff were attentive and helpful and provided useful recommendations to the diners in the group. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic Indian cusine and will undoubtedly be making numerous return trips.

Mai'da Indian Eatery - Full with locals so proves this place is very good, great atmosphere on Saturday night. Service good considering how busy it was (there was a party of around 20 in at the time). The naan bread is the best I have ever tasted (try the Peshwari), and you have just GOT to try one of their famous milkshakes - I had a Snickers one and my partner the Dime Bar Cake one - and they have got to be the scrummiest thing I have ever tasted! Stuff dessert - get a milkshake - much nicer!

Food was very nice, but those items on the menu which were actually fusion seemed rather limited. Lots of indian food, a fair bit of chinese food but what happenned to fusion...

Once again, Mai'da was brilliant! We all ordered separate dishes but they were absolutely delicious, especially the panner starter! Presented beautifully too. We all had the sizzling hot chocolte brownie which is to die for. Highly recommended!

Mai'da Indian Eatery was, despite its difficult location (15 minutes' walk from Bethnal Green and Liverpool Street Stations) served interesting and unusual Indian grilled starters and curries. The breads were top notch and the non-alcoholic (you will have to consume beer before or after in one of the nearby pubs). Wish we'd ordered less main courses so we could have sampled the genuine Indian Desserts such as gulab jamans.

I took my family to Maida and was dissapointed that my booking could not be located. But the waiter still managed to fit us in. Service could have been better but the food was great and made up for the lack of service, however this also improved as the evening went on. Was very busy which was a good sign, and very child friendly. Would reccomend to friends and family, the wife has already decided to take her sisters there in the near future. Was a bit costly for what we are use to, but worth it.

I visited Mai'da Indian Eatery with a group of colleagues. The food was excellent and the imaginative non-alcoholic mocktails and shakes were appreciated by all, even the die-hard beer fans. The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet work outing or family meal. Our only complaint would be that the service was slow but I think that that had more to do with the kitchen and bars capacity for dealing with a large group at one time than the staff themselves who were polite and helpful.

The Mai'da is an excellent restaurant. The excellent menu is keenly priced and all of the dishes were beautifully prepared. The service was fine: friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We will return and recommend that you try it as soon as possible as it is good value even without the Toptable discount.
