The ambience at the Maghreb Moroccan Restaurant was warm and so was the temperature, which on a cold November night is important! The food was very yummy and reasonably priced. The service was civil, though not overly friendly. A good evening out.

At Maghreb the food is great.we booked the offer 2 couses for 12.95 but opted for the menu a la carte as the offer menu was too restricted, what a pity. The service was a bit slow but the very polite and hard working waiter apologized at the end.Relly enyojed the lamb tajine with prunes. The ambient is nice, not too pretentious, ideal for a dinner with small group of friends other than couples i'd say.Overall a nice experience, if they add more courses to the offer menu i'd definitely go back!

Food was great, service was attentive and our waiter was a complete comedian. half way through the meal 3 piss heads rolled in and started a pillow fight at the back of the restatraunt . One waitress, barley 5ft, took control of the situation and grabbed the lead piss head by the scruff of his shirt and through them out. The waitress Dealt with the whole thing very professionally and then apologised to us, bless her.

Wow, we had a lovely romantic meal here. Great food, service, and not at all expensive. Recommended.

Went to Maghreb in Angel, food was great, as was the service but it was really quiet in the restaurant. Set menu was low on choice but it seemed to reflect the main menu well.

I went to Magreb with a friend for a catch up over some food and wine. The service was great and the starters and main courses were delicious, and great value due to the offer.Desert let the side down however, although maybe a good thing as we were quite full. Nice atmosphere if quiet but it was a cold Wednesday night. Would recommend and will return.

Magrheb gave us a very enjoyable evening, the food was lovely, and i felt that the selections given on the set menu offered a good taste of what was on offer.

The food was acceptable - not bad, but not very good either. Cocktails were way overpriced for the little glass they served them in. Don't think I would go there again ...

The morrocan restaurant Maghreb is a small and quiet venue on Upper Street, Islington. Its coulorful scheme is attractive and is a decent enough place for a casual meal. The food is ok, although not as great as morrocan food should be. The waiters were, however, friendly and helpful!

I choose Maghreb Moroccan Restaurant because it was the nearest restaurant to Highbury tube station where I was meeting friends, but what a great find. Wonderful food, friendly atmosphere, warm and cosy.

Maghreb was a good experience The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was delicious. The staff were also really understanding - we had a child under 6 months with us who was having a bad day!

    Always a pleasure visiting Maghreb

With its bright red lanterns along the ceiling, Maghreb has a warm, authentically Moroccan feel, without being over the top. Equally, the food is subtly brilliant, with fresh high quality ingredients. Wine is nearly all Moroccan. It was expensive and not to my taste. Service was excellent - cheery and helpful but unobtrusive. We were a bit squashed in our table by the window but at least one side of the table could people watch on Upper Street in front. Very pleasant evening overall.
