Reviews of Ma Cuisine Le Petit Bistrot - Twickenham

A wonderful experience. Ma Cuisine looks like a real French bistrot with the ambiance and menu of real France. The meal was a superb example of this genre with large portions of simply cooked, fresh and seasonal food . The charcuterie was a meal on its own and the cassoulet matched any from Carcasonne, Toulouse or Castelnaudry. Truely memorable.

Another great meal at Ma Cuisine in Twickenham. I've never been disappointed here. My only challenge is to try to eat something other than the fantastic cassoulet which is so lovely that I keep having it time after time!

Our evening at Ma Cuisine was lovely. Food was excellent, staff were nice and 20% off the bill made it even better!! Thanks

On a Tuesday evening in October, in the middle of a financial crisis, it was not surprising that there were not many customers. However, we were all treated to some good 'French' food and friendly service. Although the price (without the special offer) is on the high side , we will go again.

Normally never have an issue with my selection off the menu but the confit of rabbit leg just wasn't a hit. Potentially just down to personal choice so I wouldn't like to impact the rating too much with just one not so perfect meal but it really was a most peculiar concoction. My husband enjoyed his meal and my steak tartare as a starter (always willing to go off menu for customers which is great) was it's usual standard. Oh well, will definitely try again.

Ma Cusine gives an authentic french bistro treat. With a good menu of french classics done very well. Expect lots of interesting meat and fish dishes as well as the classic e.g. coq au vin , fillet steak and fish soup. We had aspargus salad and scallops, followed by veal steaks and rabbit. The 20% off the whole bill offer makes this excellent value. Be warned though portions are large - so if you want dessert you might want to skip starter!

Ma Cuisine- Twickenham Having spent the last 7 years in sydney, australia- we were looking forward to some proper French Cuisine and we weren't disappointed. My husband loved theFrench onion Soup. Our 2 daughters nibbled through the generous basket of warm bread and butter. We also ordered the foie gras and the chicory salad. The mains were very generous in portion- cassoulet was beautiful, coq au vin very good, and 2 steaks were polished off. good evening- defintely will go back

3 of us dined on a quiet Tues night, excellent service and delicious food and wine by the glass, but the chef is straying away from the traditional French bistro food that they did so well - rather prissy presentation and the lamb cous-cous was over-salted, but will go back again to try the new style of food again.

Excellent food - the onion soup is brilliant! Very basic decor but quite authentic French. Only criticism is that they really do pack you in!

We dined at Ma Cuisine in Twickenham for the 2nd time on Sunday 20th January. The food was very good and although the portions are not large they are certainly adequate and the quality is very good. Will definitely return again.

Ma Cuisine is a fantastic local restaurant, the food is incredibly tasty, and excellent value for money. This visit we sampled the petit bouliabaisse which was served with the best rouille I have ever had, followed by a pork belly that was so tender you could pull it apart with your fork, my fellow diners had succulent delicious veal steak and a very good lamb rump. Portions are deceptively large so we couldn't fit desert! Service impeccable, the Richmond area needs more places like this!
