Reviews of Lsq2 Bar & Brasserie

Went to Lsq2 last night for business meeting and was pleasantly surprised at how busy it was and the atmosphere for a Tuesday night. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable - the meat tapas platter was amazing - well worth going back for! As per previous review it was a little difficult to find.

Lsq2 Bar & Brasserie is in a rather strange location among and industrial estate, however there is a nice water filled area outside. The food is very good and actually quite exciting as it is a fusion of european and asain cuisine. The tuna starter and oysters were very good. The main of venison and pork belly were fantastic if not a little rich and the deserts were also very tasty. We would probably go back again to try a few different things. Worth a look.

Lsq2 is a wonderful dining experience, the staff are always friendly but professional and I look forward to every visit.

always a favourite. superb meal of very good quality. only criticism is it's cost... one should pay high for such good quality but I'm not convinced it represents value for money... London prices for a restaurant outside of the capital

My wife and I ate at Lsq2 on a Tuesday night - it was quite busy with most diners being businessmen/women, and quite a nice, buzzing atmosphere. Food was very good (I can heartily recommend the aged steak and the vegetarian tapas). Service was excellent. Will be back !

We met at this Lsq2 Bar & Brasserie for a business dinner. After a day of meetings my colleagues and I were delighted with the restaurants open relaxed atmosphere which helped us quickly unwind! We found the menu excitingly different and diverse and and the portions adaquate and beautifully presented. I will definitely use this restaurant again..

lsq2 in reading. My starter was lovely and would have been great larger as a main lobster sausage paella. My main weeping tiger steak, was chewy and my mouth was confused with too many flavours. For a friday night one waitress and bar man five couples eating, dissapointing for what it cost. We will not be going again.

LSQ2 is a little off the beaten track. You may as we did, need to do your Hiawatha bit. Signs are in evidence for the eagle eyed. We went on a Saturday night and were a little surprised by how quiet it was. Only 3 or 4 tables in use around the 8pm mark. This however made for attentive service with good food. The Toblerone souffle was particularly admired. Gents were under repair during our visit. LSQ2 remains on the list of quiet places to go in Reading.

A fantastic evening had by all. The food was superb and service helpful, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was a little quieter than expected, perhaps due to location. I would strongly recommend.

This is the second time we have been to LSQ2 bar and we were just as impressed the second time round. The food was fantastic and the service was great (except we had to ask to be moved because they put us on a table by the toilet door having asked for a window, but this maybe because they didn't get the info from toptable to start with?). Will definitely go back again, maybe in the summer months when you can eat outside under the patio heaters and in front of the lake.

Our 2nd visit to LSQ2 lived up to expectations - this time with extra choices from a special Christmas Menu. Again the food was delicious and beautifully presented, service friendly and relaxed - made for a very enjoyable evening. I'm sure we'll return again in the New Year!!

We expected high expectations of this restaurant because of the reviews we've read. No childrens' menu available. My husband ordered steak. There was one table of 10 there already. We were told they had no more steak knives!! Asked for medium to rare. Steak over overcooked! The turkey was very dry and not enough gravy. We were asked "how was the meal". We should have told them but we were being too polite!! We were disappointed.
