Our recent dinner at the Killiecrankie House Hotel was one to remember. We began with aperitifs by the bar, followed by dinner in the lovely, cozy dining room and finally tea in the sitting room - formal, but still friendly. The food was of a high standard, we were impressed by a risotto starter and the high quality cheese board (in addition to dessert on the set menu). All-in-all the meal was very good value for money. Not cheap, but you get (more than) what you pay for. Well recommended!

Killiecrankie Hotel has a lot going for it. In that part of the world there is not much good food. There was a large group of people in the bar when we arrived and so they put us in a quiet sitting room for our predinner drinks which was very nice of them. The food was good although I found it to be a little bit on the dated side. The price wasn't too bad considering the quality of the food.
