Thought we would try The kew Grill seeing as it had such good reviews on here and we we're not dissapointed. Greeted by attentive friendly staff and warm atmosphere and seated in very comfortable chairs, the food was excellent with generous sized portions and full of flavour. We will definately be returning!

Everything about Kew Grill reminded me of a 70s/80s bistro including the menu with starters like avocado & prawns and prawn cocktail and mains like cottage pie and beef stroganoff. However this is where the comparison ended. The food was delicious - we had steaks which were cooked to perfection and others in our party were just as complimentary about their food. The service was efficient with polite but not particularly friendly staff.

Wonderful steak, which was a good price. We felt the starters whilst very good were slightly overpriced in comparison to the rest of the menu Thoroughly recommended chunky chips and fried mushrooms as sides. The wine was fantastic, recommend the Rioja. A lovely birthday evening!

We went for sunday lunch and we all thought it was excellent. Very quirky and informal which was a pleasant surprise. The menu was so good that i really found it very difficult to decide and i felt it was all very reasonable. The only negative i wolud mention is that because it is so small it was very warm and the men in our party felt it was unbearable. I cant wait to go back though!!!

A great evening as always at Kew Grill - lovely noisy chatter, great food and service and some local celebs to watch!

Kew Grill - Monday night in October. Ambience and decor very pleasant. The restaurant was not full all evening as may be expected, but we were put on a round table which would be comfortable for 5, but is much too small for 6 - why do you need to do that. Food very good, including steaks, pork and dover sole on our table. There was no time between starters and main course which always annoys me. Still we liked it a lot.

The Kew Grill offered wonderfully fresh food, served by a knowledgeable staff. It was a great place to eat with just the right amount of background noise and lighting. The meal itself was well balanced and wonderfully cooked. The only thing lacking was the accompaniment of side dishes with some dishes. The drinks were the only real downside with a well above average price for their quality. The bathrooms were small yet accommodating, with some oddly out of place signs on the doors.

Even though I booked Kew Grill for my manager on this occasion, I have been here before and would recommend it. I received very good feedback from everyone who attended the dinner and would definitely book again.

Kew Grill is alway dependable for the quality of it's food and service - we usually find we have too much food, but hey.

Lunch at the Kew Grill on a Tuesday was not the most popular time of the week yet there were a comfortable amount of other diners. The service was good and the ambience of the restaurant pleasant. All the courses we tried were however poorly presented and dissapointing. The mixed grill which should be easy enough to achieve in a grill restaurant was poor, the best part was the sausage and black pudding. The duck terrine was served in huge unnattractive slabs with some wilting salad .

Had heard lots of nice things about Kew Grill, and it has lived up to all of them. Myself and a very beautiful young lady had the pleasure last friday evening. On arrival it all seemed quite cramped and very small but once seated it all added to the ambience of the place and was very cosy with a warm feel. The squid was gorgeous and the prime rib was to die for and a must. Kew Grill will be a place I will take pleasure in visiting again, and also good value for money. BA. London

The Kew Grill was very relaxing - a bit hard to find as the map was not very accurate but a warm welcome and easy going service
