We went for the 2 courses and a glass of wine for 17.95 at Kensington Place last night. Service was excellent. Food was very limited - nothing vegetarian but I did ask to swap a main for the veg risotto and they complied. Wine was good and they include service in the bill, so you're lookin at dinenr for 2 at just under £40. Would I go back? Probably, but not for the prix fix menu, it's just too limited and I'd rather spend my money on food I wan to order!

I haven't been to Kensington Place for a good couple of years and I'm happy to say that the excellent quality has not diminished with time. The service is always polite, unfussy and impeccable. Our lunch menu was extremely varied and my jerusalem artichoke salad followed by belly of pork were both delicious. My fellow diners both had extremely tasty fish dishes. The wine was also good value for money.

We had a weekday girls dinner at Kensington Place and signed up for the set meal deal with glass of wine. The house wine was very nice but we were not able to order from the Set Menu because there were only 4 choices for each of Starter and Main Course. Of the mains, two contained offal, one was deep-fried salt cod and I can't remember the final choice which also didn't please. So we were very disappointed with the menu choice although service was lovely

a reliable venue with a predominantly fish menu. A great place to go with family and friends not so much a romantic dinner date. The 2 course short menu is go value but restricted.

The food and service was excellent. Fabulous ambience with very friendly waiting staff, especially the barman who made me a fab champagne cocktail.

Kensington place is a lovely glass fronted restaurant in trendy Nottinghill - lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great tasting wine. The delicious food is served up somewhat sparsely (1 piece of ravioli for a main) which doesn't mean you necessarily leave the restauant full! However, it was a great experience.

Kensington Place was much improved since we last visited about 18 months ago when we had an awful meal but have seen that it has been quite full lately so we thought we would give it another try! Food was great, great presentation and lots of flavour. Service was well intentioned but a bit disorganised. Overall level of service was fine but felt waiters were a bit stressed!

Kensington Place was great. Good choice on set menu and very good value on special offer. Was empty at lunch, but still a nice atmosphere as pleasant looking restaurant.

Food was very good and reaonably priced. Service, although eager on the most part, was poor....However, I would recommend this restaurant for the value for money. Note however that wine prices are on the high side.

It was my first meal at Kensington place, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was very quiet as for Thursday night but it didn't really matter. The service and food were exellent. If you're in the area, def go and check it out.

Good Saturday lunch spot. Simple tasty menu and the best of the bunch to redeem our hard earned eating points!

Kensington Place was light and airy - the food was excellent, but was let down a bit by the service which, whilst not inattentive, could have done with slightly more focused staff, who seemed at times slightly distracted with the ordering.

Had a lovely meal at Kensington Place, it was quite empty on a Monday night, and the "set menu" was really good and reasonably priced - wine was good with good choices. Will certainly be back!
