An other perfect evening in the Memories of China. The service was good as always, the food very nice and the wine list offers something for everybody.

We were given an excellent table on a saturday night. Our drinks were flat on arrival which were changed straight away. At the end of the evening. we were given these free. Overall we found the whole experience excellent. Next time in London we would go back

It's quite a nice place and the lunch menu is very reasonable. Fried wonton's were very disappointing and were more like crackers - there didn't seem to be much filling at all? Salt & pepper prawns were much better and the main's were a decent size and well presented. The bill was wrong but I'm sure it was just an honest mistake. It's a nice place and the staff are reasonably friendly but I wouldn't make a special effort to get there.

Well, the food is all right but not a Wao!! The service is too rush to bring the next dish...they should moderate their speed...we are in a restaurant to relax and take our time.... MFH

Ate at Memories of China yesterday - the food was great. The starters were were the standard chinese ones, satays and spring rolls but the main dishes were just fantastic, not oily and generous portions. A bit on the expensive side at £165 (incl service and 2 bottles of wine) for 4 people but very good food. Definitely will return.

Our second visit to Memories of China was marginally less good than the first but only because our first visit would have been difficult to beat. The salt and pepper prawns were delicious, as was the monkfish with asparagus. We will definitely go back.

The Kensington branch of Ken Lo's Memories of China is a pleasent Chinese restaurant but it lacaks a certain amount of spark. Disappointingly, we were unable to have Peking Duck as this dish has to be ordered 24hrs in advance, which we were unaware of. Instead we ordered aromatic duck, which is never as nice in any restaurant. Having said that, this was one of the nicest aromatic ducks that I've tried. The food is not traditional chinese food and much of the dishes have been westernised.

I recommend Ken Lo's Memories of China -Kensington for excellent food, efficient and pleasant service, smart tables, affordable prices and easy access. We had Sunday lunch there , restaurant was full, but quiet. Portions were generous and nicely arranged. We had a great time. M.

Visited Ken Lo's in Kensington as a mid week treat. The food was good, much better quality than your average Chinese restaurant, and it should be because it is not cheap. Service was a little suffocating at times, our water refilled without us even taking a sip, 3 different people asking if we would like desserts and always felt like we being watched. My boyf was even asked if he would like a spoon as his chopstick use was being scrutinized! I would recommend this restaurant.
