Reviews of Jonathans' Restaurant

Jonathan's Restaurant Birmingham was empty on a monday lunchtime, only us dining! The whitebait starter was soggy, the lamb steak large but not marinated as stated in menu. Can rate as only average to poor.

We had a great meal in very pleasant setting but it was pricey.

Jonathons had an interesting atmosphere with a very victorian setting with quaint little eating areas arrived at through a maze of small rooms with cobbled paths. The food had a Black Country Theme but not enough choice and a little overpriced . The service could have been improved.

Jonathan's is very decadent with gorgeous Victorian rooms. Food: Superb, beautifully presented, smashing. Drinks: Extensive wine list, bar drinks slightly expensive. I'm very satisfied with my visit.
