JIm Thomsons on Upper Richmond Road was fairly quiet in the restaurant. Not sure if it was due to it being a Tuesday or the fact that you could order a curry and have a drink for £7.95 in the bar which is very good value. I had a thai green curry and my partner had the beef massaman, which was all very nice. I think we'd have had a more enjoyable time eating in the bar area where there was more of an atmosphere.

The food is always reliably good at Jim Thompsons. Staff were friendly with no rushing us - very good considering that we were a large group of mostly drivers so not much more was going on the bar bill but we were still there a long time.

Jim Thompson had a nice authentic Thai atmosphere with a good selection of real Thai food. The food was great and the staff were friendly and professional.

Jim Thompson's is a sweet little place in Putney with some fairly good Thai food - Not too sure how authentic the Malaysian food was though [being Malaysian myself I am a bit hard to please]

Jim Thompson @ Putney, very nice surroundings. The staff however could do with some more people skills. Setting that aside, I ordered the hottest dish which was terrible as it was so oily, it looked like chilli oil with chicken! My partner's dish however was excellent so on that score I would try this restaurant again. I think it was a case of ordering the wrong thing! The roti bread and dip was yummy!

Jim Thompson's is a lovely restaurant, with great decor. Thai restaurant section was a bit quiet on a Wed evening. Pub section would have been much better as it was livelier and cozy with fires blazing. Food was very good. Service was good during the meal, but slow when we wanted to pay. I would definitely go back.

Very nice ambience, but they got my order wrong.... it took them a while to rectify that by which time my rice had gone cold and my partner had almost finished his meal...

We really liked the cozy atmosphere of Jim Thompson's in Putney. The pub at the front of the restaurant has lovely deep leather sofas in front of the fire and the main restaurant at the back is well decorated. We shared one of the set menus and the food was very tasty. The service was attentive without being intrusive. This is our second visit and is fast becoming a bit of a favourite!

Jim Thompsons is mid-price range thai restaurant. A good assortment of meals and nicely decorated Service is really slow - we waited approx 20min after being seated for a menu. Very hard to 'flag down' a waiter as they seemed to keep their presence to a minimum. The incorrect wine was brought to the table, I told the waiter and he proceeded to open the bottle. So I pointed it out for a second time that it was not what I ordered. Okay dinner - think there was a better ambience in the bar though.

Jim Thompsons was fantastic. The food was served in a timely manner and was superb. As it was a sunday, we basically had the place to ourselves, but that suited us fine. The service was also very good. I would definitely go back.

Had a superb birthday dinner with 7 friends at Jim Thompson's Putney. This place is great, it amazes me that there are never too many people there. The bar at the front is perfect for a pre dinner drink and the service at both is excellent. Best of all, the food is a really high standard and delicious.

Great location, although at first it looks like you are going into a pub resturant but then the back opens up to a lovely traditional thai eatery. Great service (although not very flexible on chnging an item on the menue), would go back...

Great decor in both the restaurant and bar area. A reasonably tasty meal and overall a good evening. Only criticism would be the rather authorative Thai waitress but it was quite amusing too!
