The food was average but to expected for that price! Although the pancakes were really nice and so were the cocktails. There were 15 of us but staff were really friendly and attentive. Didn't stay for the live music so will probably be back to check it out - but not for the food. A good evening.

We had a great night at Jazz After Dark. The food was very good value, and the music was excellent. I would definitely return.

Jazz After Dark was a fabulous place to go and listen to music. Not perticulary outstanding food nor cocktails, you will have a great time listening to liver performances.

compact fun place - go for the music and atmosphere not the food which is fairly priced but unexciting

Great place, really enjoyed it, good music, great food cheap and cheerful, nothing pretentious

We had a great night at Jazz After Dark. Although the premises are small (in terms of numbers) there was still a nice atmosphere. We had the set menu and whilst the food was fairly simple, it was fresh and well prepared (and only 11 pound) The music was good, wish it has started a little earlier though. The staff were brilliant and never stopped smiling. A biger range of beer/wine would be nice.

It reminded me of home cooking, although my mum couldn't cook an egg. The service was excellent; I was disspointed when told the waiters didn't get the service charge added, but explained that it was a small joint, the rent was high and everyone mucked in. The band was awsome, one XXX rated song extinguished the coolness of the other standards. The vocalist didn't seem to mind at all and it all added to the fun. I'll go again for the excellent cocktails.

The music was good and the food was nice. It was very quite though as we were the only ones in the actual restaurent part. I would recommend you go at weekend where the atmosphere would be much better!

Saw this place on toptable. Was a nice place to eat and a good atmosphere. What let it down for me was that you had to pay £10 to get into the live jazz night after having a meal. Would recommend it for a night out though.
