Jamies, Fleet Place was a good lunch spot. Very nice Thai curry, friendly service and with a discount voucher, good value. Music perhaps a little loud for a more formal lunch meeting but a good atmosphere for less formal dining.

Great dining as usual, cheap with 50% voucher I had. Only came to £36 for 4 people with drinks and main meal. Great service by our waitress.

Great place to nip in for the lunch hour, the BBQ selection looked delicious, however maybe a bit too much for a lunchtime meal!!! all in all was pleasant.

Food at Jamie's was good and service was quick although it was quite quiet esp. for 1o/c. Nice surprise when we got the bill as there was over £10 discount on a £40 bill. Great place for a quick, reasonably priced lunch with friends.

We had a very nice meal; the food was pretty outstanding and priced honestly! Unfortunately though the service was pretty poor and the cocktails were not good at all. If you are after food only then I highly recommend Jamies but if you are after a whole evening entertainment I suggest you go elsewhere.

I had haddock fishcakes, absolutely lovely. What a nice way to spend a Friday lunch hour.

Jamies @ Fleet Place is definitely more of a wine bar than a restaurant, but that's not such a bad thing. The wine list is extensive, but if it's too much to deal with, just order the wine of the week. The food menu is limited (only one vege option) but the food was well prepared. Dining on a weeknight, we had the place more or less to ourselves which some might find lacks ambience, but for a group catching up, it's like having your own private bar.

Our evening at Jamie's gave us what we wanted. It was an attractive venue with a buzzing post-work atmosphere. The drinks list was good value (interesting wines at good prices). Food selection was small but very tasty - sticky beef well recommended! At times we felt rather rushed by the staff, but they were all friendly and polite. A great place for catching up with friends.

Awful service. We kept having to go to the bar to ask for things despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty. Wine was expensive and the food was average at best. Wouldn't go back, which is a shame as it's really handy for work. One of the waitresses was particularlyl surly so we didn't leave a tip.

Unfortunately Fish Chips and Mushy Peas turned up without the mushy peas but waitress apologised - however, had she told us at the time of ordering we'd have changed our order. fish and chips were very well cooked (chips are ones with skins on) so didn't look particularly appetising but the nachos for starters were great!

Jamies had a limited menu, mainly pub type sharer boards. The food was nice enough but was overpriced without the 50% offer. With the offer though it was good value. There was only one type of beer on tap also, which was a shame. The music was loud so it was hard to chat at times.
