Reviews of Jamies - Bishopsgate

I've been to Jamies a few times before. The food is a little over priced. I tried the fish and chips, the fish was full of bones and rather oily, the portion of chips was really small with a side dish of mashed peas - a little expensive for the quality of the food. Nice on the terrace when the sun is out!

Jamies had a nice atmosphere and good solid English food.

Jamies in Bishopsgate has very nice food - not cheap for lunch but not too expensive either! Well worth a visit if you are in the city - and the service is very good.

Jamies - Bishopsgate is absolutely recommendable. The food is served in decent sized portions. The staff are on point and very efficient. I will definitely go back there again.

Went to Jamie's Bishopsgate for a work lunch (party of 10) and enjoyed great food and a relaxed atmosphere. The high ceilings, terrace and open front give the place a really spacious feel and the food is good value considering the sizeable portions. Definitely recommended for a work event.

Jamies of Bishopsgate is a great location for a business lunch. the atmosphere at lunchtime is very vibrant and the value for money is very good.

We visited Jamies at Bishopsgate with some overseas visitors for an after work meal. At first our reserved table was being used by other patrons, although they happily moved when asked by the waiter. The menu was VERY disappointing, not at all like the online example. The waiter checked with the chef who agreed 3 lunch options as also available (which we all had!). Very busy/noisy, not enough serving staff. OK as a bar, not at all as a restaurant (in the evening)- disappointing.

OK for quick City lunch but wouldn't take clients I wanted to impress here. Food was average but the menu overall was stodgy. Service was slow and inattentive and at £35 for two people to have one dish each, it seems very overpriced. Wouldn't return.

Had a really good, quick and tasty sandwich lunch at Jamies at Bishopsgate. Service if anything a bit too fast but allowed us to sit and chat over coffee.
