Loved our meal in Jalon's Bridewell. Ordered Steak medium which was under cooked but it when sent back it was completely replaced with new steak and side orders. No discount on meal was provided though.

First visit to Jalon's - with 12 managers of my company from across the UK. They were all impressed!

Visited the Jalons Bridewell in Liverpool for my daughters 18th birthday and it was excellent. Food and service were excellent. It was quiet because it was a Monday evening but there was still a good atmosphere and it is different with the tables in the old 'cells'. Tried the cocktails both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and these were very good. Overall the value for money was outstanding in comparison to two or three other Liverpool restauarants which I looked at during the day.

UPON ARRIVAL AT JALONS BRIDEWELL THE STAFF WHERE VERY FRIENDLY,AFTER HAVING A DRINK DOWNSTAIRS WE WHERE TAKEN TO THE MAIN RESTAURANT UPSTAIRS. SERVICE WAS GOOD AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD, ALTHOUGH A COUPLE NEXT TO US HAD A FEW PROBLEMS WITH THEIR MAIN MEALS. IF A REGULAR AT RESTAURANTS PRICES ARE ABOUT AVERAGE THOUGH SOME PEOPLE MIGHT THINK IT A BIT EXPENSIVE. I WOULD VISIT IT AGAIN BUT I HAVE A FEW OTHER PLACES I WOULD GO TO FIRST.

really nice building and setting for the restaurant but i thought the menu was tired - in fact quite 1970's but written up in a contemporary way- the actual food itself was really nice

Lovely place, lovely food great ambience. Would recommend the rib eye steak with the extra pepper corn sauce. Make sure you save room for the fudge cake for desert yum yum!!!

We had an early evening special offer meal at Jalons Bridewell which at £13.95 was extremely good value for money as the food was delicious and there was lots of it.

Set in one of Liverpool's old prisons. Unusual surroundings but very comfortable. A little draughty as it is open plan. Met straight away. Friendly staff. Cocktails were very nice but dear! Food brought to the table quickly but not rushed. Not a VERY extensive menu but excellent quality nonetheless and well prepared. Excellent range of wines and drinks at reasonable prices.
