£££'s Oh dear...Friday night 9pm. Arrived at hotel reception, they gave us vague directions down fire exit to restaurant downstairs. The main dining room and music are BEAUTIFUL. Walked into the restaurant to find one other couple (this increased to about 12people by the time we left -approx a quarter full). FoodAMAZING.Service was terrible, one of two main courses delivered v.late, asked twice for water which never arrived, had to get up to serve own wine from remote serving table. NOT 5 star...

Amazing venue, the reception is very minimalist. Service a bit slow, menu varied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for something different.

I'm glad we benefitted from the 50% off toptable deal when we visited I-Thai at the Hempel recently. Otherwise £18.95 for a Pad Thai is surely exhorbitant. Surprisingly few asian options on the set menu.

i-thai. the food was fantastic highly recommend the starters tempura, main was very nice i had sammon and my friend had lamb which was nice and tender dessert was the best we both had cheese cake. the only down side was finding the place its in a side street with not proper directions the hotel did not have the name on the outside.

Nice restaurant, even though had moved location from main restaurant to lounge as there was a function on. it is in a hotel so very posh. Service was very attentive, sometimes a bit too much because kept having our glasses topped up and water filled. Food was lovely, a little expensive given the choice available. Could be wider in my opinion. Toilets are pretty nice if you can find them, hidden behind reception! Nice for a romantic evening out but probably on a busier night as was onle 2 tables.

Great atmosphere, well decorated, plenty of candles really helped ambience. Good if slightly eccentric service. Not really Italian-Thai fusion I had expected, more of a mixture of those countries dishes on the menu. Food was well presented and designed, although we got a different recipe main course than the one one the menu and we were disappointed with it. Deserts weren't very special and the meal was not great value as the cheapest (although very nice) bottle was £22! A good experience...

Great evening at I-THai. Amazing building - big surprise when you go in and then down to restaurant. Often these places wow you with ambience and then the food dissappoints but not this one - an eclectic Italian/Asian mix well executed incuding an amazing steak. Good wine list and attentive service - a very pleasant discovery - one I will be back to soon.

I-Thai is a little gem in the ultra slick Hempel hotel which is decorated more like a meditation/chill out room. Dishes are not extremely adventurous but every one was expertly prepared with a1 ingrdients. Lovely ambience and efficient service made this well worth the visit.

I-Thai was a cool place to check out. The food was interesting, with some creative entrées; the décor was very modern and cool but seemed uninspired.
