I would highly recommend this restaurant, the meal we had was fantastic, I have never seen such a big prawn prawn with the Zingha 65 and the Chicken Shashlik was fab.

Indian Room was pleasant and good for our girls get together, very nice ambiance and got quite busy. Obviously popular with locals.

The Indian Room was excellent as always. The food is always lovely, and the service was good - although it is stil better on the weekdays when less busy!

Quite simply a cut above. Very modern decor, attentive service, fabulous food and a great mango lassi - what more could you ask for? None of the traditional 'floating in ghee' curries here - all were fresh and different, and very tasty. The lamb bhuna gosht and massive onion pakoras were especially good. The Indian Room is a really great little local Indian, and worth a bit if a trip even if you don't live nearby.

Lovely food as always - definitely book if going on weekend as gets really busy. Nice atmosphere and new layout means the restaurant has feeling of more space

We went to the Indian Room last night (Friday) and you definitely need to book! It was packed out all night and they even had to turn people away, suggesting how popular it is. The food was fantastic and we left feeling stuffed and satisfied. The service was attentive and pleasant, the atmosphere was buzzing and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend it and will be coming again!

The food makes the Indian Room so great. Had the best onion bhajis and lamb rogan josh my partner and I had ever tasted. The mixed vegetarian starter was delicious too. Would definately rccommend to others.

Last night was my first visit to the Indian Room in Balham and I was not disappointed. Everything we had was of the highest quality. The service was a little bit hit and miss but it was very busy.

The food at the Indian Room was excellent - we tasted the King Prawn - a very large prawn in shell well spiced and the sheek kebab - very tasty. The fish curry was not too spicy with succulent fish, while the chicken karai was quite spicy. The pickles and pappadums were all fresh. The only let down was the service, which was very slow, we arrived and 7.30 and our main course arrived at 9.15! But I would recommend the Indian Room.

Indian Room - Great Indian food with attentive service. Its intimate setting is good for a small group or a dinner for 2. Thoroughly enjoyed by all and the food had great flavours. Highly recomend and will be returning soon!

Indian Room is a good local restaurant, cheap & cheerful with Interesting dishes on the menu, the vegetable masala should be missed at all costs as it is sickly sweet. However would still recommend as everything else was good.
