The Hawksmoor is always great for steaks. Unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere.

3rd time at Hawksmoor as the steak is just fantastic. I don't recommend getting the ribs for starters if you are having steak for main course, as it ends up being far too much meat. I like the side portions but I think they could be more generous in size for the price.

Although the place looks like an office, both inside and out, the steaks are astonishingly good. Service was perhaps a touch slow, but it's more than made up for by the sheer quality of the meat. You'll pay for that quality, it's true, but its worth it.

At Hawksmoor the food is good and the portions are generous. If you love a good steak this is the place to go. I ordered the sirloin steak and it was one of the best I ever had.

Hawksmoor was smaller than expected & from the outside looks uninspiring. Inside the exposed brick behind the bar & the rest of the decor deserved a grand wooden door for an entrance. Cocktails & steak lived up to our high expectations. Table next to us shared 3 steaks between 6, which was a great idea as I could only eat half of my 400g rump steak. Friendly service & a relaxing atmosphere. We propped up the bar until late but didn't feel rushed to leave. 'Peach Thunderbolt' is worth a try!

My first visit in the evening and was really surprised how good the atmosphere was. Great food and service. Recession? What recession!

Great food, really enjoyed myself I would go back. Lots to choice in the drink section.

A friend recommended Hawksmoor to me as one of the finest steak houses in London so I decided to treat my dad there and I was not disappointed. The steak was amazing and you get huge portions so you won't be going hungry. We are all massive eaters and couldn't finish the meal. The triple cooked chips are lovely and crispy, just the way I love my chips. The wine was delicious but quite pricey. The waitress served us very quickly and they are very attentive to your needs.

Hawksmoor has delivered good food however each time I have been there spread over last 3 months there has been the same items listed on the menu that have not been available limiting choice.

The Hawksmoor is arguably the best steak restaurant in London. I absolutely love it. Pity about the extortionate prices.

Great meat and great buzz. Can get pricey if you wander around the wine list and the spirits bar.

The Hawksmoor was a real find just a short walk away from "The City". Excellent & intriguing cocktails at the bar from knowledgeable and friendly bartenders. Also gave us the chance to look at various dishes as they came past us; they looked good! Shown to our table and decided not to go for starters; delighted that we didn't as the mains were ENORMOUS! Outstanding quality meat and excellent side-dishes. Wine list was a little short on the cheap end but what we had was delicious. Will go again!
