Lovely old pub with upstairs restaurant. Pleasing decor and open gas wall lights; very cozy thanks to double glazing. Attentive staff and very good food. Each dish on the menu had beside it a suggested wine which we tried; they matched each dish well and were delicious. Not keen on 12 1/2% gratuity being added to both halves of the 50% reduced food price. Apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed and would repeat the experience.

Visited the Hat and Feathers on a quiet Wednesday night. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food was OK as was the service.

The Hat and Feathers is a lovely restaurant in every respect, with very good food, and amazing value when you consider the 50% off offer. Nice bar downstairs for pre-dinner drinks too.

We have been a number of times at Hat and Feathers for dinner and everything have been great. We enjoy there very much and we noticed that they had a great deal for luch too. Any main course from the a la carte menu with a glass of wine or pint of beer for £10.00 only. Defenitely will go back for that... see you soon

Took my parents for dinner at the Hat and Feathers last night - food was excellent - the carrot and ginger soup was full of flavour. Followed it up with Beef Rib Eye with delicious hand cooked fat chips. The steak was beautifully cooked and very very tender. For desert I went for the passionfruit cheesecake which was probably a little firm for my liking but tasted good and was served with a very good raspberry sorbet. It was under £100 for 3 three course meals with 2 bottles of wine. Reccomended

A reasonably sized and intimate room and our early evening booking made for a quiet ambience we both enjoyed. The food was excellent and we enjoyed both courses. The menu came with a wine by the glass recommendation for each dish which made it easy, if a bit lazy on our part. Would definitely recommend

It's my second time at the Hat & Feathers and as always, I enjoyed my food. It was well presented and delicious. My guests were a little more critical than me about the food, though the berry pudding & corn fed chicken were declared winners. I would go there again, but only on a special offer.

The food was excellent and with the toptable discount was reasonable, I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price. I had the crab cocktail to start and the pork belly, both of which were great and beautifully presented. Their selection of wines to accompany each course was brilliant and spot on. It is difficult to get away from the feeling that there is a pub downstairs unless you ask for a room in the back. However I would recommend the restaurant and especially with the TT discoun

Hat and Feathers on Clerkenwell Road....very quiet, even for an early meal but food was good, really nice staff. Would prob go again if in the area.

The Hat and Feathers dining experience was just as TopTable described it; formal. Admittedly, it was quite bizarre having such a formal experience in a pub but, just as it was formal, it was quite an intimate atmosphere too, with candles and dimmed lighting. The food was delicious - I had a yummy chicken liver parfait and then a very tender lamb rump. Would thoroughly recommend the Hat and Feathers to all my friends.

The toptable offer is very good value at Hat and Feathers. The food is very good but portion sizes can be on the small side with the main course e.g. the steak. The service was excellent.

We had a very nice dinner at Hat and Feathers. Unfortunately it was very quiet in the restaurant and in the bar downstairs but the food was really good and considering the 50% off the prices were great.
