Waiters were very attentive and the food was excellent - traditional dishes packed with flavour. It was pretty quiet for a Thursday night but perhaps that is due to the credit crunch. My only criticism would be that without the 50% discount, I think the meal would have been more expensive that it was worth.

The food at Hason Raja was delicious with a good selection and very reasonable prices. The service was quick though rather abrupt and impatient at times. The atmosphere was fine though a bit sterile. Overall though a very plesant experience.

hason raja - I have never given 10 for everything before...all superb ...especially the aubergine starter. my friend doesn't eat meat or fish the the options were endless and totally delicious. The 50% off is great but will return even when full price a great find.

Hason Raja really good, as usual. Well worth a visit.

Food at Hason Raja was delicious and different from what we have had at other Indian restaurants. Nice vegetarian selection. Would be expensive without 50% offer.

There are some very interesting dishes on the menu at Hason Raja - it's not often you find French Goose in an Aniseed and Blueberry sauce in an Indian restaurant! We thought the food was excellent although a bit overpriced, and the waiters were a bit too fussy, but despite this we had to ask for water at least 6 times before we got it! Overall though this is a good deal with the Toptable offer.

Hason Raja had above average food and was a pleasant evening. Though it would have been overpriced without the 50% off.

We had an excellent meal at Hasan Raja, everything one would expect from a good Indian restaurant. Wide selection of dishes, both mild and spicey, and they come in large proportions. The monk fish tikka was a good starter, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Murg Jalfrezi and Rara Rogan Josh, accompanied by a selection of vegetables and mushroom rice. Pity we couldn't finish everything!

Food was good but restaurant was bit dated. Had all the classics on the menu and decent wine list.

Excellent attentive service at Hason Raja. Food top class. even better value with 50% off offer.

The Hason Raja was a delight - gorgeous food and really friendly service. However, had we not been using the '50% off' offer our bill would have been pretty steep.

The Top Table offer for Hason Raja was very good. Good location if you're visiting the British Museum. We may return but only with the offer. We didn't like being coherced into ordering the lager of their choice even though we ended ordering what we wanted.

Starter good, mains average. OK if you are in the neighbourhood but not worth travelling to.

The food was good and reasonably priced with the 50% off toptable deal. I'd rate the food above average relative to a typical curry house but not as good as some other Indian restaurants around central london. Definately worth a try with the toptable deal, otherwise you can probably find better Indian restaurants at that price. It wasn't very busy in the restaurant and the atmosphere felt quite 'sedate.' The staff were friendly and attentive.

We had a pleasant meal at Hason Raja until the bill came. The offer with Toptable was 50% off the food and although a discount had been given is was not the full 50%. We did query this and were half-heartedly told that it was correct, though the waitress did not seem eager to look into it. Frankly we were too embarrassed to pursue the matter and left with a slightly bad taste in our mouth. An unfortunate ending to an otherwise enjoyable evening.
