Hand & Flower is surprisingly nicely furbished for a Thai restaurant at the back of a pub and draws a bit of a constrast to the atmosphere out front on a match night. Service comes with smiles and pleasantness. The food is good, but not exceptional, and comes with an interesting variety of vegetables, some of which you may not expect in Thai cooking! In sum it's a very nice and cosy neighbourhood place and would be a good venue to take a small group - would definitely return.

The Hand & Flower on New Kings Road has above average Thai food at very reasonable prices. The service is comically bad, but the value for money coupled with a very nice setting makes this a good neighbourhood haunt.

Good food and good value. Nice service. Just wish they wouldn't have a 12. 5% service charge and then "TIP" in letters three times the size of the other items.

Seems to have been quierter since it changed from Jim Thompson's to the Hand in Flower - not sure why, the standard of food is every bit as good and the service generally charming and helpful.

Having read other reviews ont he hand and flower we were expecting it to be expensive, however, 2 courses each and lots of wine only came to £30 per head including service. Great food. Service a little slow. Toilets nice but very cold. Overall would certainly go back.

We went to Hand & Flower for pre-match meal before the Chelsea game so only the football menu was available. Fair selection to choose from and we both had the beef red thai curry which was tasty and good value for Kings Rd @ £8. Service slow but extra busy. Wobbly table though and no help offered when asked. Ok for quick meal but not a venue for special occasions.

The Hand and Flower is a strange place - looking like a traditional pub, but serving delicious Thai food. Would definitely go back again!
