Hakuba: Good food and great value for money. I strongly recommend the maki roles (niji, kumo).

Hakuba is a nice enough setting and the service was friendly and attentive. However, the food was a little bit greasy and overcomplicated for my taste.

Hakuba is not as 'japanese' as other similar restaurants so selection of sashimi and other dishes was limited. Raw prawns & scallops were excellent but sea urchin and tuna very disappointing. Other sashimi was good enough though pricey and green tea had the usual nice toasted flavour. Things like rice weren't on the menu but are available if you ask. Perhaps this restaurant places more emphasis on ambience than food but menus are looking tired...not as good as Viktor or other sashimi cafes.

Hakuba - this was the first time the majority of our party had visitied Hakuba, and we had a good experience overall. Friendly service, great food, different menu and fantastic presentation. We recommend the mixed desert platter.

We were seating in one of the boxes at theback of the room, was very quiet, good for conversation. The food was brilliant as usual.

Hakuba is great. The sushi is top quality; imaginitve, unusual, tasty, fresh and delicious. The cocktails are first-rate too. The room is nothing particularly special, neither the service, but the food was really great. I will definitely go back.

Great food, but they ran out of champagne and a lot of alcohol and some food items too. However the food was extremely good and service was good too! Very quiet on a Tuesday night.

My boyfriend and I had the theatre set menu at Hakuba, which gave us a huge amount of quality food for under £20.

Hakuba - I love the food. Extensive menu. Service is a little slow at times but the manager - i dont know her name - is great and very profesional. Worth a visit with the 25% off. Definately

Despite the constant name changes to this resaurant, this is still probably the best in town for Japense cuisine. The food is simply exquisite, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. It's a shame it's always so quiet - Hakubu deserves more business!

Not a budget restaurant for sure . Portions were extremely small so It was too pricey for the sort of food being offered. But ok with TT offer. Expecting the place to be busy but was relatively quiet though it did pick up later on in the night with a majority of japanese. Still very good food & nice staff

The portion of the dishes are smaller than before and some dishes are not as good as before. Yet, most dishes and the service are really good and I still think Hakuba is an excellent restaurant.

Hakuba - our third visit and yet another change of name. However the food remained to impress. The dynamite bake, and volcano and dynamite rolls were fantastic. We had black miso cod for mains and this was perfectly prepared. Surprised that this place does not pull in many punters, hardly anyone there when we went. However, this was only a good deal as we got an amazing 50% of the menu with TT - so with a great meal for 3 at under £70 (exc. wine) we were highly chuffed (and full).

Very nice food in a very central location in London. At full price this would have been too expensive and I think I would only go if there were an offer. Slightly more guidance from the waitress would have been appreciated but the service in itself was fine.
