This is the third time i have been to haiku, food is always top-noch but the service on the last few occasion has been dire, how ever, this time we was served by a oriental man in a black suit and he chosed the whole menu and also the wine for the table,result...out of this world, dispite the pricey bill,it was well worth it.wonderful to see such improvement in the service.please buy some gas for the out door heaters.

I was dissappointed as I thought this restaurant was Japanese but it is actually mixture of Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Thai. Food was ok. The place is almost trendy but not quite and was very very cold.

On 29/02/08 agroup of us went to Haiku. As we entered, we felt we came into a very reputable restaurant. The abience was great, lighting, music. The decor was top! We had drinks downstairs at the bar while waiting for some friends. We then went upstairs (felt a bit cold with the AC). Starters was good... Sushi ,Tempura and Prawn & Avocado rolls. Mains wasn't as gd as the starters. Overall it was gd.. without alc it came to £35 per person! Maybe an offer here would be good, but we didn't have 1!

Haiku is a great venue. A good selection of food. Had chilli chicken and was advised that is wasn't too hot - wrong! It was very hot!! Service was good but too many different people attended to our table of 2! We saw at least 5 different waiters! Overall a good night - quite pricey but a lovely place.

HAIKU provided a nice selection on the pre-theatre menu deal & with a group it is possible to share the mains & therefore chose different items. It was quiet at 7pm but probably has a good buzz later on. Excellent service. Staff greeted us on arrival which was a bit intimidating - them all standing in a row saying hello to each of us. We sat upstairs but the basement seemed more appealing & intimate. Spent £20 on water so in the end we had to pay a total of£37 each on £20 menu. Be careful!
