LUNCH - nice bright surroundings. Excellent white napkins, tablecloths etc. Food delicious. Not doing set meals anymore so starters £5 and mains £12. Wine all around £25 a bottle.

Hadrian's is good for Sunday Lunch, but the place is looking a bit tatty, with walls that could do with a dust and drinks glasses that need more attention. It was also a bit disturbing to be delivered plates which had smeared fingerprints in the centre.

Exceptionally friendly but unobtrusive service. Table d'Hote very good value too.

Group lunch in Hadrians Brasserie for a special occasion on a Friday afternoon. Very good food and ambience enjoyed by all. Only two other tables occupied at same time so attention from waiting staff generally good although I had to leave the table a couple of times to ask them to do the rounds with the fizz - it's the kind of place where you're not expected to pour your own. Staff friendly and helpful. Would return again with a small group.

We really enjoyed our night at Hadrian's Brasserie- the staff are lovely, the decor is bright and welcoming and the city centre location is perfect. The only gripe I would have is there could have been more choice on the set menu, however apart from that we were really well taken care of and will definately be back. It's the perfect venue for a decadent night out or for a celebration- Enjoy!

We dined on an extremely busy Saturday night and though the restaurant is in one of Edinburghs 5 star hotels we were slightly disappointed. They appeared to be short staffed so the service was very slow and the staff all seemed rushed so not very attentive. I would say that the food was overpriced for the amount & quality that was recieved. Overall a pleasant night but doubt we would return again,

Hadrians was a good place to go for a Scottish cupporter to be cheered up after the disastrous match earlier in the day. didn't really need the French team there though but the food, service and charm of teh staff made up for it. Beautiful rump steak with tasty albeit a bit watery pepper sauce and yummy mash. Wines verging on London prices so no worries there. Divine cheese board though!

Hadrian's brasserie good food, staff where charming and our 6 yr old loved the food and the attention he was paid.We started with the seafood sharing platter for 2which was excellent, fresh flavours and delicious dipping sauces, our son had the melon and strawberry kebab which he devoured in minutes followed by pasta.Next i had the pork whilst my husband had the lamb cutlets both excellent dishes although the poached pear did not sit well with my pork, bit pricey on drinks, no house wine

We had a very enjoyable evening at Hadrian's Brasserie. The food was delicious and the service was excellent (friendly and attentive, but not over bearing). The restaurant was quite empty but it was a Tuesday and the ambience was still good. 6 of us dined and everyone had a thoroughly good evening.

The calm and serenity from the hustle of the street at once composes you to enjoy the gastronomic delight that is Hadrian’s Brasserie. The seafood platter arrived with four items; smoked salmon, king prawns, squid and monkfish served with 3 dips a delight. Followed by scallops, exquisite, and partridge, full in flavour, extremely difficult to savour slowly. The desert, roast figs and Calvados ice cream was left devoid of any remnants A bottle of the unlikely named Stella Bella is worth trying.
