excellent quality, family friendly, wouldn't make the trip unless i lived locally as its more a suburban restaurant.

We visited Hadley House for a mid week anniversary dinner. It was fairly quiet which emphasised the minimalist decor but the service was great. We sampled their new grill menu which is fantastic value for money, although my other half thought the salmon steak was too oily. That was the only negative as we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Very happy to have this restaurant nearby. The bill came in under £60 for a bread basket, olives, 2 great courses, a lovely bottle of shiraz and a coffee!!

This the first time I have been back to Hadley House since the make over. It doesn't seem quite as cosy. The walls are very stark without any pics. What really let it down though was the lack of other dinners! I've never seen it so quiet for a Sunday lunch. Maybe this is a sign of the credit crunch times?? The food was excellent although I personally was not overly impressed with the choice of starters or puds

Once again great food, but the service does not match. Ate a fabulous steak for main, highly recommended. The staff are friendly, but haphazard, often need to be asked twice, bring incomplete orders and looked aghast when one of my fellow diners politely asked what the cheeses were on his cheese plate. If they could sort the service, the place would be a cracker. GB

it is a while since i have been ot Hadley House as the last time we felt it was rather expensive for a local restaurant. it is still on the high side but they did have the choice of an evening set menu for 3 courses around £20 so we couldhave opted for that but chose the a la carte menu as we were celebrating food good if a bit rich west end prices but for the quality that was OK and thankfully they now have added cushions to the chairs which made the evening more comfortable.

Another lovely meal at Hadley House. Consistently imaginative food served professionally and to the highest standards, worth the money and trek to Wanstead.

As a large group we had a great time and the staff were very accommodating to our needs, although child menu only consisted of smaller portions of adult menu! Food was delicious - no complaints from any of the party. Annoyed by the addition of a service charge though, so beware of that.

Had lunch at Hadley House on Mothers Day. The food was amazing with plenty of choice on a very decently priced menu. Was disappointed when I asked for a table by the window but told not possible due to being extremely busy that day, however a table by the window sat empty for the duration of our lunch which was annoying to say the least.

It was my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and I booked Hadley House in Wanstead for a meal for 10 of us. We all had a great time, the food was lovely and presented well, plus the service was excellent and friendly and could not be faulted. We all had a fantastic time and the night went very smoothly. I would recommend this restaurant for food and service. Regards Tracey Podger
