Garcon! in Cardiff Bay is excellent.....good food (nouveau cuisine) and excellent service. The deals are great, but the A La Carte can be a but pricey at lunchtime. Overall excellent - well worth a visit.

Started with champagne on the terrace before moving inside Garcon! Brasserie Francaise for the meal.. great location with view of the Bay. The food - bread, starters, mains and shared dessert were all excellent. Waiting staff were super efficient - eager to please and very attentive. The bill was £98 for two inc service.. pricey for style of restaurant?.. must have been the champers! Would go back.

Really liked the atmosphere for a Sunday lunchtime. Was very impressed by the service and the food was also well above par. I'm sure we'll be visiting again soon...

Garcon! has an enviable view across Cardiff bay, which we enjoyed on the terrace on a sunny afternoon for lunch. Our Vicheysois was fantastic, pickled herring was very tasty, mussles were fresh and plump, and the French cheese platter was excellent. Wine and service were good and the restaurant looked great. If you're in Cardiff it is worth finding.

Food at Garcon was fantastic and the service was even better. We sat outside on the balcony overlooking the Bay which added to the experience.

Food was sensational, all 3 courses were superb. My Wife had Goats Cheese Packet, See Bass and Tarte Tartin all cooked and flavoured beautifully. I had Moules Marinere, Corn Fed Chicken & Creme Brulee again amazing. The Corn Fed Chicken was possiblt the best chicken I have had. Yes it is a bit procey but quality is all there. £70 for 3 courses and bottle of wine and service from the restaurant manager was just perfect.

GARCON in Cardiff Bay offers excellent food, superb service and amazing wine and champagne. Although the ambience does not give away quite how good the restaurant as such is. The look of the place is a bit too "basic", not very romantic or warm, which is a bit of a shame seeing how great the food is. We highly recommend the salmon as main, the potatoes are absolutely great!! No idea what they did with them. The champagne tastes delicious. Definitely go and try it out, we did not have any regrets
