Reviews of Gandhi's Restaurant

I enjoyed the food at Gandhi's Restaurant and there was plenty of staff on hand to offer their advise and recommendations. A nice venue and very comfortable.

We went based on other very good reviews. The food was good, but nothing particularly special and it was very quiet, we were the only people in, although it was a Wednesday night at 8pm and it did get a little busier later on (mostly with people who'd been in the pub all evening!) The service was very good, and it's worth a visit if you find yourself in the area, but don't go out of your way!

Good choice of specialities and recommendations. Staff very friendly and attentive and in no way over-bearing. If you're over that way, pop in and have a feast

We went to Ghandhi's on a Friday night and it was nearly empty. The service was great (particularly from the young waiter) - prompt and friendly. The food was decent, but nothing to rave about (popadums seemed very expensive!),and the portions were a good size. We'd go back if we were in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip to go there.

I chose Ghandi's becuase it had been highly rated by some other reviewers, but ended up thinking it was a pretty average Indian restaurant, nothing special - I wouldn't make a huge effort to go there again

Fairly standard stuff but done well. The lunchtime menu was good value

Great local indian restaurant - we tried the fish tikka jalfrezi which was on the chefs specialties menu and it was delicious! Would want to revisit if I'm in the area.
