Mum and I celebrated my birthday by having lunch at Fish Hook yesterday. We ate from the lunch menu which is excellent value - £12.50 for 2 courses. Mum commented on the freshness of her Cornish Haddock and my Roast Salmon with saffron pasta was delicious.

FISH HOOK, London W6. The cooking is of a very high standard, fish superb, vegetables immaginitively flavoured. Prices have risen, it is not cheap! But it is haute cuisine.

Very relaxed service which was a pleasant change. Great food and wine - great for a romantic night out!

This is a pleasant stylishly designed bistro style restaurant. The food was imaginative and well cooked and the staff polite. The ambience is spoilt a little by the tables being small and tightly packed together. Dinner cost £110 for 2 courses & one bottle of wine. Given this is a fairly simple restaurant I think this is too expensive and for this reason I'd probably not return.

Enjoyed the experience and tried different dishes. Made recommendation to guests based on last visit, which wasn't best as the dishes were a bit different to our experience - sauces more dominating.

Fish Hook had been recommended to me by a friend, but this was the first time I had tried it since moving to the area. It didn't disappoint, the food was superbly cooked and presented and it was hard to choose from a very inviting menu. Compared to other fish restaurants, it offers good value for money, and is worth travelling for.

I went to Fish Hook with my dad last night and would definitely recommend it. The food was outstanding with good sized portions and is fairly priced. The wine list is not particularly extensive but pretty good and the service was excellent. Highlights were the soft shell crab tempura, the smoked eel and the pollack with octopus and pork belly. We were too full for desert!

I booked Fish Hook in Chiswick for my director as a client lunch. He said the food was lovely but the service could have been better. He would still recommend it.

Once again, i had a great night at Fish Hook. The food, as always, was perfect and the service superb. The french waiter Naj is excellent at his job giving some great personal recommendations and making you feel very welcome. I can't rate this place highly enough, keep up the good work!
